Wisconsin Bar Exam Format
The Wisconsin Bar Exam is a two-day exam. Day 1 consists of six essay questions and one 90-minute Multistate Performance Test (MPT) question. Day 2 is the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE), a 200-question, multiple-choice exam.

Business Organizations (Corporations, Partnerships, Associations & Sole Proprietorships), Civil Procedure (Pleading & Practice, Jurisdiction of Courts), Commercial Law (including Sales, Secured Transactions & Negotiable Instruments), Family Law (Domestic Relations), Professional Responsibility, Taxation (Federal), Trusts & Estates, Contracts, Criminal Law and Procedure, Constitutional Law, Evidence, Real Property, and Torts
MPRE
Not applicable; the MPRE is not required for admission.
Wisconsin Bar Exam Scoring and Results
The MBE, essay, and MPT scores are scaled and combined to determine if a passing score of 258 was achieved. Results are released approximately five weeks after the bar exam.

Wisconsin Bar Exam MBE Reciprocity
Wisconsin accepts scaled MBE scores of 135 or higher from other jurisdictions, if the exam was taken within 37 months of the present exam and part of a successful exam.
Wisconsin Bar Exam Reciprocity
In order to be eligible for admission without taking the Wisconsin Bar Exam, an applicant must be a member of a reciprocating state bar and satisfy the originating jurisdiction’s requirements for admission on motion.
